The authors consider the experimentation issue of wind loads on noise shields near high-speed railways. The paper substantiates the impossibility of the foreign regulatory framework used in the design of high-speed railway infrastructure facilities.
O.Yu. Krivich, I.K. Sergeev, O.Yu. Emelyanov
The article substantiates the most optimal way to increase the carrying capacity of cars. It highlights the key parameters affecting the operation safety of these cars, and clarifies the procedure for their permit to transportation process.
V.P. Sychev, A.A. Loktev, P.V. Sychev
The technical solution for the creation of the information and controlling system for moving ballast, rails and sleepers based on the operated special rolling stock is substantiated and provided. The article gives the requirements for its modernization for their applicability in this system.
M.N. Toropov, P.P. Begunov, I.E. Perkov, A.S. Selivanov, N.V. Vasiliev
The energy method of water treatment developed by railway scientists as applied to transport facilities was analysed. The article presents the enlarged technical and economic assessment of its application at heat supply and water cooling facilities of JSC "Russian Railways" and other industries processed in 2004-2019.
A.V. Gorelik, A.N. Malykh, P.A. Nevarov, T.S. Shchedrina
The issue of the sensitivity assessment of the operation process of railway automation and telemechanics systems is considered. The article gives the most significant factorial and effective indicators used for the sensitivity analysis of the basic process flows in the automation and telemechanics facilities.
P.S. Grigoriev, S.V. Bespal'ko, S.N. Korzhin
The article is devoted to the development of a methodology for the stability rating of the of a railway tank jacket under the action of external overpressure due to vacuum inside the tank shell. The technique is based on the application of the general theory of shells, the Lagrange variational principle, the approximation of displacements in the form of double Fourier series, as well as matrix operations.
L.N. Ivankova, A.V. Podorozhkina, A.V. Burakova
The article analyses the main factors affecting the design of the top of the hump and the degree of their influence on the position of the uncoupling point of the cut of several cars from the train during its disbandment. The authors give the recommendations to determine the main parameters of the hump.
Yu.O. Pazoysky, N.V. Popova
The transport development in the Moscow railway junction requires new solutions including the construction of transport hubs at the terminal stations of Central Diameters and the introduction of the shuttle and clock-face schedule, and it will create conditions for increasing passenger traffic on the site and increase the appeal of suburban railway transport.
A.S. Kosmodamiansky, V.I. Vorobyov, O.V. Izmerov, D.N. Shevchenko, E.V. Nikolaev
The article considers the development problem of the previously proposed classification of traction drives as a search tool for new patentable solutions. The authors propose an extended classification-algorithm which includes a class of intermediate solutions, as well as analysis levels of new constructive solutions.

This paper focuses on the comparative analysis of technical and economic characteristics of virtually and rigidly coupled freight trains, as well as united container trains. The authors give the recommendations for improving the process of passing virtually coupled trains. The scope and conditions of the application of technologies for passing of double freight trains are substantiated.
I.A. Zhuravlev, D.D. Bederdinov
The application of modern technologies and intelligent approaches in the transport sector makes it possible to develop the transport infrastructure, resulting in a state called the intelligent transport system, where a significant advantage is achieved through the use of digital and computer technologies. But as such systems range, weaknesses are identified, such as insufficient protection against external threats.

Carrying out the reconstruction of railway stations with an increase in the effective length of the main and receiving-and-departure station tracks, it is necessary to assess the vibration impact from rolling stock throughout the work section. The purpose of this article is to detect excess levels of vibration and noise exposure relative to 1.2.3685-21 [1] Sanitary and Epidemiological Rules and Regulations at the projected object.
I.A. Konoval, P.F. Bestemyanov
Nowadays, we should not forget about ensuring the epidemiological safety and labour protection of the conductors of passenger railway cars, who are constantly in contact with an increased amount of banal bacterial microflora which can cause infection and subsequent illness. One way to reduce transmission of pathogenic bacteria may be the antimicrobial film with silver ions PURZON060B (PURE ZONE).
E.A. Trifonova, O.S. Sachkova
The article considers the complex concept of "culture of labour" to improve the working conditions of employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service. At the same time, it was established that in domestic and foreign economic literature there is no generally accepted definition of "culture of labour", especially in terms of employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service. The reason for this is the polysemantic nature of the concept of "culture" and accordingly the multidimensionality of the culture of labour.
A.V. Kiselev, E.A. Kiseleva, V.V. Samoilov
The article is devoted to the study of issues related to the calculations of the economic effect and the impact due to the implementation of labour safety measures. It has been established that it is advisable to use the system modelling method, to compare the expected level of reduction in occupational health and safety losses with the amount of funds invested to achieve it, as well as to apply methodological approaches developed within the framework of ergonomics.
A.I. Shevchenko, A.A. Sharapov, V.V. Denisov, V.L. Shetilov
