Methodology of Modeling the Return of Rolling Stock from Port and Border Stations on the Basis of Solving the Transport Problem of Linear Programming

The problem of optimizing the return of train traffic from port and border stations on the example of the Eastern polygon is solved. The solution of the problem makes it possible to normalize the transit and unloading train flows from the stations of mass origin when building the normative train schedule, as well as to redistribute the work on the formation of unloading train flow between the stations depending on the intensity of the predicted approach of cargo.

Formation of Transport Corridors on Railroads with Increased Transit Traffic

The article considers the system of wagon flow organization in the formation of transport corridors on the railroad network. The analysis of the car turnover indicators for 2021-2023 is carried out. The ways of increasing the transit wagon traffic on the section of the railway polygon are considered. The calculations proving the expediency of forming a transport corridor on a separate line are presented.

About the Influence of External Electromagnetic Fields of Power Equipment on the Operation of Locomotive Safety Devices

In this paper using computer modeling based on the finite element method, the characteristics of the external electromagnetic field formed during the operation of asynchronous traction motor in the area of suspension of the receiving coils are determined. The necessity of further study of the inductive coupling features of the receiving coils of the main safety devices and external electromagnetic fields formed by power equipment is pointed out.

Influence of a Distributed Hopper on the Throughput Capacity of a Polygon

The study of railroad sections and polygons on simulation models has shown a strong interrelation between station and section infrastructure, throughput capacity and train flow structure. A change in the latter with inadequate infrastructure inevitably leads to a reduction in the capacity of the section. The results of experiments that demonstrate this interaction are presented, and recommendations for its improvement are given.
