The paper presents the design of a railway platform with rotatable sites designed for multi-lift loading and unloading of a specialised container for solid municipal waste. The authors have carried out the studies on the static and fatigue strength of the rotatable platform model with four fittings. The results of the calculation in SolidWorks Simulation of the rotatable platform for fatigue strength are presented.

The main issues related to the organisation quality of operation and maintenance of Ermak electric locomotives during the locomotive fleet replacement are considered. The workload of freight mainline electric locomotives is determined depending on the series. The authors give the ratios of the growth rate of failures by type of equipment when putting into operation the new electric locomotives. Organisational and technical measures are proposed to reduce the number of failures.

The paper discusses a new diagnostic method for traction motors, with this method ensuring the reliable operation of this unit. Materials and methods: the method of predictive (preliminary) diagnosis. The research results indicate the expediency of using the adapted software. Discussions: predictive diagnostics made possible to establish in advance the expiration of the brush collector unit resource.

The article considers the problem of improving the regulatory basis in the field of functional safety and reliability of railway automation and telemechanics systems, their development and commissioning processes. The authors propose a set of priority measures to update the methodological support regulating the organisation and carrying out the tests for the functional safety of these systems.
S.P. Vakulenko, A.D. Ershov, K.A. Kalinin
The article examines the problems of using fractional numbering in the standard schedule of trains having common route sections in a large railway junction.
S.S. Bokov, L.A. Illarionova
The authors consider both general issues and specific situations of using cloud technologies as an element of information modelling technologies at one of the stages of the construction life cycle. A number of problems hindering the wider introduction of cloud technologies have been identified, and strategies have been proposed to overcome them. The article shows the advantages of the wider implementation of cloud computing in the construction industry.

The article substantiates the need for the implementation and introduction of a project based on neural networks that assesses the emotions of railway passengers. The advantage of this system is the possibility of improving the quality of passenger transportation by analysing the information obtained with the use of an emotion scanner.

This article discusses the possibilities of using the elements of digital transformation to control the life cycle stages of a passenger car. The main software systems used to account for the passenger rolling stock condition are considered. The basis of the principle of digitalisation of the life cycle process of passenger rolling stock has been developed for the implementation of its approaches in the elementwise stages of the cycle.

The article presents an analysis of the application effectiveness of the simulation methods of transport and logistics flows. At the initial design stage of such centres as an airport, seaport, transport, and logistics centre, it is possible to identify key imperfections, avoid them in time, and predict the necessary indicators for an organisation. The issue of using simulation modelling for the effective functioning of transport and logistics flows is outlined.

The regulatory requirements for structural materials involve periodic inspection of the final item and do not regulate industrial processes. The article considers the applicability of audits of production facilities to evaluate the conformance of technological chains and timely corrections in technology when identifying the harmful effects of materials or their combinations.
D.V. Klimova
The article discusses the main regulatory requirements for ensuring the safety of workers in the case of labour at nonstationary workplaces for railway transport workers. A review of terminology and assessment methods established by legislation in relation to nonstationary workplaces has been carried out. The author underlines that the arrangement of working conditions in the case of a mobile kind of work should be considered in relation to the production and technological work nature of railway transport workers.
