On the calculation of stress and displacement fields for the case of cylindrical waves in an elastic medium

The problem of the cylindrical compression wave propagation in an elastic medium is considered. The values of radial displacements of medium points and radial stresses are obtained. The asymptotic estimates of the obtained solutions for the displacement field in the medium at large distances from the wave sources are given, as well as the statistical distribution of the displacements of the medium.

Automated system for diagnostics of isolation of electric locomotive traction motors based on nano-interferometric optical fibre sensors

To organize the transition to the maintenance and repair system of the traction rolling stock taking into account the actual state of units and units, it is necessary to widely introduce on-board, portable and stationary diagnostic tools with the formation of a data bank on the operating conditions of the elements and the locomotive as a whole. To solve these tasks, the author developed and tested an automated system for diagnosing the insulation of electric locomotive traction motors based on nano-interferometric optical fibre.

Analysis of research results of irradiance in UV spectral range (A, B, C) under disinfection modes of shower module surfaces of passenger cars

The author considers one of the most important problems of the XXI century - the prevention and elimination of the epidemiological consequences at the railway facilities. To ensure personal hygiene safety, to clean the air from bacterial pollution and reduce infection with infectious diseases, it is necessary to introduce shower modules in passenger cars with a system of disinfection and decontamination after each passenger. In addition to the aerosol disinfection, the ultraviolet radiation should be used to enhance the decontamination effect.
